ISP Reduction
« on: January 21, 2016, 04:19:27 PM »
Hello,
I am evaluating three of your products and have a few questions.

Is the ISP reduction feature in XiSRC identical to that found in AudioRepair?

Thanks for any info.

Hello PaulVK,

Thank you for taking our software into consideration.
The ISP features are actually different.

AudioRepair is doing a 32x Upsampling to 1.4112 MHz to catch any possible ISPs of standard recordings at 16Bit / 44.1 kHz.

The XiSRC algorithm assures that during upsampling most of the ISPs are removed whereas during down-sampling the reduction - if activated - removes the stronges ISPs. The algorithm will be further optimized. Nevertheless, most of the other Re-Samplers don't care about "Inter Sample Peaks" at all.
